Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia receives new Welfare Officer Maria Lourdes V. Reyes of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) attached to the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto. They are joined by DCM Fernandez and First Secretary Aquino.

Welfare Officer Reyes previously served as Welfare Officer of POLO attached to the Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and was Regional Director of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Region III Office prior to her assignment to POLO Toronto.
