In accordance with Republic Act No. 9189, as amended by Republic Act No. 10590, Filipino citizens, including dual Filipino-Canadian nationals, who meet the legal requirements and are at least 18 years old by 12 May 2025, are eligible to register as Overseas Voters. This allows them to participate in the 2025 elections by voting for Senators and Party-List Representatives.
Filipino voters residing in Canada and Bermuda will cast their votes online for the 2025 National Elections.
Filipino citizens abroad who are not disqualified under the law and will be at least 18 years old by 12 May 2025, may register for overseas voting. This enables them to vote for Senators and Party-List Representatives during the designated overseas voting period, which runs from 13 April to 12 May 2025.
How to Register
Overseas voter registration for the 2025 National Elections has already ended. Overseas voter registration started on 9 December 2022 and ended on 30 September 2024. Only those who have successfully registered are allowed to vote.
Disqualifications
- Any person who has been sentenced by final judgment to suffer imprisonment for not less than one (1) year, such disability not having been removed by plenary pardon or amnesty;
- Any person who has been adjudged by final judgment by a competent court or tribunal of having committed any crime involving disloyalty to the duly-constituted government, such as, rebellion, insurrection, violation of the firearms laws, or any crime against national security unless restored to his/her full civil and political rights in accordance with law; and
- Insane or incompetent person as declared by competent authority unless subsequently declared by proper authority that such person is no longer insane or incompetent.

PRE-VOTING ENROLLMENT AND ONLINE VOTING
The mode of overseas voting per COMELEC Minute Resolution No. 24-0067 dated 02 February 2024 will be through internet voting.
