29 September 2021 – Following the easing of pandemic-related restrictions in the Atlantic provinces, the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa resumed providing in-person consular services to the region with a consular outreach mission held in Moncton, New Brunswick from 23 to 27 September 2021. The last consular outreach mission to the Atlantic region was to Halifax in September, 2020.

Leaders of Filipino community organizations in Ottawa gathered at the Philippine Embassy’s Mindanao Hall on Friday, 17 September 2021, for a Town Hall Meeting with Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles.
Ambassador Robles welcomed the attendees back to the Mindanao Hall and noted that the Chancery has been a venue of many community gatherings in the past.

ADVISORY Mobile Consular Outreach in Moncton, NB: For Applicants Residing Outside New Brunswick

Applicants at our Mobile Consular Outreach in Moncton, NB who reside outside the province of New Brunswick are advised that all travelers from outside New Brunswick – including New Brunswickers re-entering the province – are required to pre-register under the province’s Travel Registration Program.
Travel registration will need to be submitted electronically and will be available starting 21 September 2021 (Tuesday).
The province has issued the following details:
- If you are fully vaccinated, no self-isolation will be required (Vaccinated individuals will register one time and receive a multi-use pass.)
- If you are not fully vaccinated, you must self-isolate for 14 days or until you receive a negative COVID-19 result from a test taken on Day 10 or later. (Unvaccinated individuals will be required to register for each trip into the province.)
- Individuals who cannot receive a vaccine because of a medical exemption will be required to show proof of such exemption.
- Children under 12 are not eligible to be vaccinated. As long as all people travelling with children under 12 have been vaccinated, the group does not require isolation or testing.
- If you have been given direction under federal guidelines, you must follow those directions in addition to any provided by the province.
