Starting 1 September 2021, the Bureau of Quarantine and the Department of Transportation is requiring all international travelers to the Philippines to use the One Health Pass (OHP) platform to process their mandatory health protocols and quarantine requirements. The OHP covers departure at point of origin until arrival and onward destination in the Philippines.

We are pleased to announce that a consular outreach in Moncton, New Brunswick will be conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa on the following dates:
Thursday, September 23, 2021, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM;
Friday, September 24, 2021, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM;
Saturday, September 25, 2021, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM;
Sunday, September 26, 2021, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM; and
Monday, September 27, 2021, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

The consular team will provide passport services (application and renewal) and overseas voters registration only.

Embassy Resumes Consular Outreach to Montreal

Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles administers the oath of allegiance to Filipinos reacquiring their Filipino citizenship after having been naturalized as Canadian citizens after Consul General Eric R. Aquino briefed them on the benefits in recovering their Filipino citizenship.
1 September 2021 – Following the easing of pandemic restrictions in the province of Quebec, the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa resumed providing in-person consular services in Montreal with a consular outreach mission from 26 to 31 August 2021. The consular team was led by Consul General Eric R. Aquino.
The consular outreach mission was also an opportune time for the first official travel to Montreal by Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles who hosted a town hall meeting with leaders of the different Filipino community associations in Montreal.
Ambassador Robles Promotes Credentials Recognition Advocacy with Montreal Officials

Ambassador Rodolfo Robles (center) met with federal Members of Parliament Anthony Housefather (2nd from right) and Annie Koutrakis (in yellow) in Montreal.
Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles held yesterday, 30 August 2021, separate meetings with federal and local officials of Montreal where he requested their support in his advocacy to recognize the academic credentials and work experience of Filipino immigrants earned outside of Canada.
The academic credentials of all immigrants to Canada are not recognized by provincial governments which have jurisdiction over the issue. This hurdle hinders the full contribution by immigrants, including Filipinos, to the development of their new communities in Canada.
