16 August 2021, Ottawa – As the Philippines commemorates Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa (National Language Month) this August, the Embassy of the Philippines in Canada brought back its ABAKADA Atbp. book program to share beloved Filipino stories with Canadian children of Filipino descent.

We are pleased to announce that a consular outreach in Montreal, Quebec, will be conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa on the following dates:

The consular team will provide passport services (application and renewal) and overseas voting registration only.

Passport applicants should ensure that they bring with them complete requirements when they arrive at the venue for their transaction, particularly photocopies of required documents. There are no photocopying facilities at the venue.

The ASEAN Committee in Ottawa Celebrates ASEAN Day in Ottawa

Ottawa, Canada – Ambassador Rodolfo Robles and other Heads of Mission of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa (ACO) co-hosted on 10 August 2021 a reception celebrating the 54th Founding Anniversary of ASEAN at the Official Residence of the Indonesian Embassy.
The event was attended by officials from Global Affairs Canada led by Assistant Deputy Minister Paul Thoppil and diplomats from ASEAN Dialogue Partners accredited to Canada.
The ACO is composed of the diplomatic missions in Ottawa from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
