The Embassy’s consular section in Ottawa will be open on the following date for our monthly Saturday consular service:
Saturday, 2 October 2021, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
We will provide passport services only (application and renewal).
All applicants must book an appointment through the following link beginning Monday, 27 September 2021, at 12:00 noon (Ottawa time):

Applicants should ensure that they bring with them complete requirements when they arrive at the Embassy for their transaction, particularly photocopies of required documents. There are no photocopying facilities inside the Embassy.

Please note that, due to existing COVID-19 restrictions in Ontario on physical distancing and the size of the Embassy’s consular space, walk-in clients cannot be accommodated.
The wearing of face coverings/masks shall be required of all applicants inside the building.

Philippine Embassy Joins 2021 ASEAN Picnic

12 September 2021, Ottawa – The Philippine Embassy in Canada, led by Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles, joined representatives from the diplomatic missions of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam for the 2021 ASEAN Picnic on 12 September 2021 at Rockcliffe Park and the Rockeries. Participants mingled outdoors, took part in games, and enjoyed traditional dishes brought by the different Missions.
An annual activity of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa (ACO), the ASEAN Picnic was suspended in 2020 due to health restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year saw the resumption of the event as the province of Ontario entered Step 3 of its reopening plan.

Embassy Hosts Coast Guard Auxiliary Event

The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa supported the recent Induction, Promotion, and Awarding Ceremony of the 209.5th Division of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA), the pioneering and only overseas unit of PCGA. The ceremony took place at Mindanao Hall of the Embassy’s Chancery Building on 12 September 2021.
The hybrid ceremony was presided from Cebu City by the Philippine Coast Guard Central Visayas District Commander, Rear Admiral Jose William Isaga, while the volunteers from the 209.5th Division were assembled in Ottawa, Canada.
