As the first snowfall of the season fell on eastern Canada, the Embassy of the Philippines traveled to Montreal, Quebec on 17 to 18 November 2018 to invite members of the local community to join Winter Escapade 6 – It’s More Fun in the Philippines (WE-IMFITPH 6).

In conjunction with the Embassy’s regular Consular Outreach Mission in Montreal, First Secretary and Consul Greg Marie Mariño spoke to members of the Filipino community about the tour package and distributed information materials.

Winter Escapade is an annual tour organized by the Philippine Embassy and Consulates General in Canada in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Tourism, and Tourism Promotions Board, together with designated ground handler Rajah Tours, Inc. The tour is now on its sixth edition after having brought more than 1,200 Canadian snowbirds to prime destinations in the Philippines since 2014.
