PH Embassy in Canada Conducts Consular Outreach in Charlottetown, PEI

31 May 2022, Ottawa - The Philippine Embassy in Canada conducted its first mobile consular mission in the Atlantic Region for calendar year 2022 this weekend when it held its Consular Outreach Mission to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. This was the first time that the Philippine Embassy team had been in the province for almost three years, previously hindered by travel restrictions during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The team provided consular services such as passport renewal, legalization of documents, and civil registration from 28 to 30 May 2022. Twenty-six persons were also administered the oath of allegiance for the retention and reacquisition of Philippine citizenship (dual citizenship).-END-

Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles joins the Knights of Rizal in Western Canada and Member of Parliament Kevin Lamoureux during a visit to the Rizal Monument in Winnipeg.
As the Philippines approaches the 161st anniversary of the birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal on 19 June 2022, Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles visited the Rizal Monument at Dr. Jose Rizal Way in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The visit was arranged by Sir Felino De Jesus, Western Canada Region Commander of the Knights of Rizal. Joining Ambassador Robles were Mrs. Nora Robles and Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel Fernandez, the latter is from the Gatineau Chapter of the Knights of Rizal in the Ottawa-Gatineau National Capital Region.
