04 June 2022, Ottawa - The Philippine Embassy in Canada conducted a one-day briefing for participants of the National Philippine Parliamentary Internship Program of the Parliament of Canada. The briefing provided a comprehensive view of Philippine foreign policy, trade and economic development, history and culture, geography, and bilateral relations between Canada and the Philippines.
The Embassy also introduced the interns to the administrative structure of the Philippine Embassy and its daily operations.

The Philippine Embassy in Canada successfully conducted a consular outreach mission in Happy Valley – Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador from 4 to 5 June 2022 to serve the consular needs of Filipinos in the area, including Labrador City. The consular team processed passport renewal, legalization of documents, civil registration, and applications for retention and reacquisition of Philippine citizenship.
PH Embassy in Canada Holds Reception in Honor of Parliamentary Interns

01 June 2022, Ottawa - Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles hosted a reception on 01 June 2022 in honor of participants of the National Philippine Parliamentary Internship Program of the Parliament of Canada.
Mr. Kevin Lamoureux, Member of Parliament for Winnipeg North and Chairperson of the Canada-Philippines Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, and Ms. Rechie Valdez Member of Parliament for Mississauga-Streetsville, joined Ambassador Rodolfo and Madame Nora Robles, and the Philippine Embassy staff in welcoming the interns at the Mindanao Hall. Guests from the Carleton University Filipino Students’ Association, the Filipino Students Association of the University of Ottawa, and Kabangka also attended.
Ambassador Robles thanked the guests for their presence and underscored the important role of the program in mentoring Filipino-Canadian youth as they prepare to become future leaders of their communities. He thanked the Friendship Group for initiating the project and assured the guests of the Philippine Embassy’s support. -END-
