The Consular Consultation of Philippine Posts in Canada was hosted by the Philippine Consulate General in Calgary last 23 October 2022. Senior officials from Manila led by Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Undersecretary Hans Cacdac, DFA Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs Henry Bensurto, Jr., and DFA Assistant Secretary for Migrant Workers Affairs Paul Raymund Cortes joined PPC principal officials led by Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel Fernandez III in the annual conference. DFA Assistant Secretary for Public Diplomacy Eduardo Martin Meñez and DFA Assistant Secretary for American Affairs Jose Victor Chan-Gonzaga provided perspectives on communication and the bilateral relations, respectively.
PPC is composed of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and the Consulate General in Vancouver led by Consul General Maria Andrelita Austria, the Consulate General in Calgary led by Consul General Zaldy Patron, and the Consulate General in Toronto led by Consul General Orontes Castro.
Philippine Posts in Canada Convene Annual Economic Consultation

26 October 2022 – Philippine Posts in Canada (PPC) successfully convened their annual Economic Consultation to discuss means and ways to increase bilateral trade, investment, and people-to-people relations between the Philippines and Canada. They were joined by senior officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs, representatives from DTI and DOT covering Canada, and Filipino business leaders in Calgary.
PPC is composed of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and the Philippine Consulates General in Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto.

The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, led by Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III, welcomed representatives of the Filipino diaspora in Canada’s National Capital Region to “The Pinatubo Aetas,” a photo exhibit by Toronto-based Johann Bona.
Held at Sentro Rizal Ottawa, the photo exhibit promotes National Indigenous Peoples Month celebrated each October in the Philippines.
The exhibit runs from 18 to 21 October 2022 and is open to the public from 1000H to 1700H.
