Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. In a dinner hosted in Montreal on 19 November 2022, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III welcomed the latest group of Filipino scholars from Cebu Technological University (CTU) under the ASEAN-Canada Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) program sponsored by the Government of Canada. The scholars are CTU faculty members pursuing post-graduate research programs in the Université de Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in the fields of business management, biology, agricultural science, and English.
CTU has a partnership agreement with UQAM to receive its faculty scholars, with its initial scholars participating in the SEED program during Autumn Term 2019. The current group of scholars is the fourth from CTU.

We are pleased to announce that a consular outreach in Bermuda will be conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa with the following details:

The consular team will provide passport services, notarization/legalization, and other consular services during the outreach mission.

Applicants should ensure that they bring with them complete requirements when they arrive at the venue for their transaction, particularly the printed application form and the required documents and their photocopies. Embassy Holds Consular Outreach in New Brunswick

15 November 2022, Ottawa – The Philippine Embassy in Canada successfully conducted a consular outreach mission in Saint John, New Brunswick from 12 to 13 November 2022.
There are 5,190 Filipinos residing in New Brunswick. Aside from Saint John, the Embassy earlier conducted a consular outreach mission in Fredericton.
Philippine Embassy Joins Remembrance Day 2022 Event

14 November 2022 – The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa joined Canada in commemorating Remembrance Day on 11 November 2022 in a solemn ceremony at the National War Memorial in Ottawa. The Philippine Embassy was represented by Third Secretary Jan Michael Gomez.
Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Canada, and other Commonwealth Countries, to honor armed forces members who died in the line of duty. It is commemorated on November 11 to recall the end of hostilities during the First World War “at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month” of 1918.
