PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS 2025

Registered Filipino overseas voters (in Posts/Countries adopting online voting) may vote online in the May 12, 2025 elections.

To participate, you must be pre-enrolled as an online voter. Pre-enrolment for online voting via the COMELEC Voting Portal is from March 10 to May 7, 2025.

The 30-day overseas voting period is from 13 April 2025 until 12 May 2025, at 7:00PM Philippine Standard Time.

19 December 2022, Ottawa. The personnel of the Philippine Embassy in Canada, led by Chargé d’Affaires, a.i Francisco Noel Fernandez III, joined the Filipino Community in Ottawa for the 5^th night of Simbang Gabi at the Assumption Parish on 19 December 2022.

Through the invitation of the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Francis Victor Mateo, OFM Conv, CDA Fernandez also lead the community in the lighting of the Christmas Tree reflecting the joyful celebration of Christmas this year.

18 December 2022, Halifax- The Philippine Embassy, represented by Consul General Jeffrey Salik and joined by Vice Consul Mary Jaselle Menteer and Attache Lydia Rodillo, participated in the community celebration of the Filipino Association of Nova Scotia. The event was attended by Filipino families who are working and residing in Nova Scotia.

The 2021 National Census of Canada listed 6,615 Filipinos in Nova Scotia. The Philippine Consulate General in Halifax, headed by Consuelo Lacson, Consul, ad honorem, caters to the needs of Filipinos in the province.
