Embassy Joins Coastal Clean Up in Ottawa

The Philippine Embassy contingent to the Coastal Clean-Up with the garbage they collected at Britannia Beach in West Ottawa.
A contingent from the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, led by Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III, joined the coastal clean-up organized by the 209.5th Division of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary on 27 August 2022 at Britannia Beach in West Ottawa.
The activity was undertaken by the Embassy to welcome the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA MO) commemorated across the Philippines in the month of September. The City Government of Ottawa provided the garbage-collection paraphernalia for this activity.

Philippine Posts in Canada Promote 28th Tranche of Retail Treasury Bonds

Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III welcomes viewers to the presentation of the 28th tranche of Retail Treasury Bonds offered by the Philippine Bureau of the Treasury.
As part of its financial literacy advocacy, the Philippine Embassy in Canada led Philippine Posts in Canada (PPC) in collaborating with the Bureau of Treasury of the Philippines (BTr) in promoting to the Filipino diaspora in Canada the 28th tranche of Retail Treasury Bonds (RTB). The activity was streamed online through video conference and carried simultaneously on the social media platforms of both BTr and PPC.
In his welcome remarks, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III enjoined the Filipino diaspora in Canada to become Overseas Filipino Investors and support the continued economic development of the Philippine through the purchase of the RTBs.

Philippine Embassy Holds Team Building Activities

23 August 2022 – The Philippine Embassy in Canada conducted its annual Team Building Activity on 20 August 2022 at the Tomlinson Family Foundation Clubhouse in Ottawa, Ontario.
Modified versions of Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Filipino traditional game Patintero were utilized to highlight characteristics of an effective team – clear coordination and communication, strategy development and implementation, and teamwork.
