We are pleased to announce that the consular outreach in Charlottetown, PEI will be conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa on the following dates:
Date: Saturday, 16 September 2023, 8:00AM to 6:00PM
Sunday, 17 September 2023, 8:00AM to 6:00PM
The consular team will provide passport services and notarization/legalization services during the outreach mission.
Overseas Voters Registration for the 2025 National Elections will also be available on site.
We urge applicants not to bring with them people who have no consular business to conduct as the crowd will be tightly managed at the venue. Travel companions may wait outside the venue. Appearance is strictly by appointment only.
Please note that an approved appointment does not guarantee that your transaction will be completed on the appointed date without the presentation of sufficient documentary requirements. Please make sure to bring your complete documentary requirements with photocopies and the payment.

09 August 2023, Ottawa – Philippine Ambassador to Canada Maria Andrelita S. Austria joined other ASEAN Heads of Missions in celebrating ASEAN Day at the Embassy of Indonesia. Global Affairs Canada’s Associate Deputy Minister Cindy Termorshuizen attended the celebrations as Chief Guest, along with other officials from Global Affairs Canada, representatives of other Government Departments, and members of the Diplomatic Corps.

8 August 2023, Ottawa – Sentro Rizal Ottawa successfully launched the Kuwento ng Alon (As Told by the Waves), an art exhibit by the missionary visual artist Kristine S. Lim, through an opening reception held at the Mindanao Hall of the Embassy on 4 August 2023.
Philippine Ambassador to Canada Maria Andrelita Austria proudly opened the exhibit, describing it as a testament to the creativity of the Filipino people. Ambassador Austria added that the exhibit not only celebrates the maritime and archipelagic features of the Philippines, but most importantly, the stories of Filipinos all over the world, all testimonies of the faith, spirit, and resilience of the Filipino people.
In her speech, Ms. Lim shared how Kuwento ng Alon was born during the height of the pandemic in 2020, in partnership with Filipino composer, songwriter and record producer Jonathan Manalo. Ms. Lim emphasized that her artworks carry with them the story of every Filipino.

The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and Philippine Centre Canada invite newly-arrived Filipino International Students in Ottawa to the Filipino International Students Convention (FISC) to be held on 2 September 2023 at the Mindanao Hall, Philippine Embassy, 30 Murray St., Ottawa.
With the growing number of Filipino international students going to Canada, the FISC aims to assist incoming students and facilitate their integration into Ottawa through a series of briefings and talks. The whole-day convention will gather representatives from different school support services, settlement and integration services, and Philippine consular and labor services.
Only a limited number of in-person participants will be accommodated. Register through: rb.gy/5u24s
