PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS 2025

Registered Filipino overseas voters (in Posts/Countries adopting online voting) may vote online in the May 12, 2025 elections.

To participate, you must be pre-enrolled as an online voter. Pre-enrolment for online voting via the COMELEC Voting Portal is from March 10 to May 7, 2025.

The 30-day overseas voting period is from 13 April 2025 until 12 May 2025, at 7:00PM Philippine Standard Time.

31 July 2023, Ottawa – The Sentro Rizal Ottawa hosted a Virtual Folk Dance Masterclass with the world-renowned Bayanihan National Folk Dance Company. The workshop was participated by the members of the Philippine Dance Troupe of Ottawa (PDTO).

In her opening remarks, Philippine Ambassador to Canada Maria Andrelita Austria thanked the NCCA for the initiative and for having the Bayanihan share their dance talents and techniques. Ambassador Austria welcomed the PDTO, led by its founder and Chairman, Danilo Arriola, as the participants for the 3-day workshop. Ambassador Austria added that the workshop is an excellent opportunity to enrich and build on the existing knowledge and skills of the very talented and young dancers of PDTO.

The Philippine Embassy in Canada joins the nation in the celebration of the 2023 International Humanitarian Law (IHL). This year’s theme, "IHL: Guide to Humanitarian Advancement of Peace", emphasizes the ongoing and vital role of IHL in fostering peace and safeguarding the rights and dignity of individuals affected by armed conflict.

This year’s celebration will also highlight the Philippines’ continuing commitment to Peace, Security, and Excellence, as embodied in Republic Acts 9851, 10530, and 11188. END
