PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS 2025

Registered Filipino overseas voters (in Posts/Countries adopting online voting) may vote online in the May 12, 2025 elections.

To participate, you must be pre-enrolled as an online voter. Pre-enrolment for online voting via the COMELEC Voting Portal is from March 10 to May 7, 2025.

The 30-day overseas voting period is from 13 April 2025 until 12 May 2025, at 7:00PM Philippine Standard Time.

The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, led by Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia, attended celebrations of the 2017 World Day of Prayer hosted by various churches in and around Ottawa. The invitation was extended by the Women's Inter-Church Council of Canada, an inter-denominational association spearheading the annual celebration of the World Day of Prayer.

Ottawa, 2 March 2017 - Global Affairs Canada's Assistant Deputy Minister for Asia, Hon. Donald Bobiash, hosted a luncheon for the heads/acting head of ASEAN diplomatic missions in Ottawa last 1 March 2017 where he affirmed the importance attached by Canada to its relations with ASEAN. The Philippine Embassy was represented by Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel Fernandez III.

The Embassy of the Philippines in Ottawa is pleased to inform the Filipino Community in Canada of the 2016 Revised Rules of Procedure for Small Claims Cases (A.M. No. 08-8-7-SC), which increased from Php100,000 to Php200,000, exclusive of interest and costs, the amount or value of the claim falling within the jurisdiction of small claims courts.

Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III, in his capacity as Chargé d'Affaires, a.i., signs the guest book of the House of Commons in a meeting for heads of diplomatic missions from the Asia-Pacific region hosted by the Honorable Geoff Regan, Speaker of the House of Commons. DCM Fernandez conveyed the best wishes of Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia to Speaker Regan and highlighted the contribution of the Philippines to the global discussion on migration during the meeting.
