PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS 2025

Registered Filipino overseas voters (in Posts/Countries adopting online voting) may vote online in the May 12, 2025 elections.

To participate, you must be pre-enrolled as an online voter. Pre-enrolment for online voting via the COMELEC Voting Portal is from March 10 to May 7, 2025.

The 30-day overseas voting period is from 13 April 2025 until 12 May 2025, at 7:00PM Philippine Standard Time.

9 MAY 2023 - The International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines, the country’s biggest international food trade show, is back again at the World Trade Center, Metro Manila, Pasay City from 26 to 28 May 2023. This year’s 16^th edition of IFEX Philippines focuses on the theme “Share the Love for Global Flavors” to highlight the Philippines’ top export products and commodities, together with other Asian and international flavors.

It is a banner food event for Asian and Philippine food champions to showcase a wide and diversified array of finest ethnic Asian food and ingredients. It is also a one-stop business platform for leading buyers and top grocers to promote their products globally and establish and strengthen links with international buyers, importers, and retailers.

Philippine Embassy holds Consular Outreach in Montreal, Quebec on 6-8 May 2023

9 May 2023, Montreal- The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa conducted its first consular outreach for the year in Montreal, Quebec on 6-8 May 2023. The Embassy’s 7-man team rendered a total of 370 consular services which included applications for passport, civil registration, legalization, and dual citizenship.

Fifty individuals took their oath under the Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition Act of 2003, or more commonly known as the Dual Citizenship Law (R.A. 9225) and 44 registered for overseas voting.

Representatives from the Migrant Workers Office-Toronto and the Philippine Department of Tourism- New York also joined the outreach to provide labor-related services and promote Philippine tourism, respectively.

8 May 2023, Ottawa – Philippine Ambassador Maria Andrelita S. Austria invited Filipino organization leaders in Montreal in a Kapihan to get to know the community and discuss their concerns, as well as opportunities for cooperation. Ambassador Austria sought their support for the Embassy’s initiatives in Montreal, including Philippine cultural and tourism promotion activities, among others.
