9 MAY 2023 - The International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines, the country’s biggest international food trade show, is back again at the World Trade Center, Metro Manila, Pasay City from 26 to 28 May 2023. This year’s 16th edition of IFEX Philippines focuses on the theme “Share the Love for Global Flavors” to highlight the Philippines’ top export products and commodities, together with other Asian and international flavors.
It is a banner food event for Asian and Philippine food champions to showcase a wide and diversified array of finest ethnic Asian food and ingredients. It is also a one-stop business platform for leading buyers and top grocers to promote their products globally and establish and strengthen links with international buyers, importers, and retailers.

8 May 2023, Ottawa – Philippine Ambassador Maria Andrelita S. Austria invited Filipino organization leaders in Montreal in a Kapihan to get to know the community and discuss their concerns, as well as opportunities for cooperation. Austria visited the Filipino Catholic Mission of Montreal on 7 May 2023 and joined the faithful in their celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Manaoag. In her address to the community, the Ambassador emphasized the indispensable role of the Filipino community in passing on our faith and traditions to the next generation.

8 May 2023, Ottawa – Philippine Ambassador Maria Andrelita S. Austria met with Borough Mayor Gracia Kasoki Katahwa in Montreal on 8 May 2023. Recognizing the Mayor’s background as an immigrant who worked in health care, the Ambassador raised the Embassy’s Credential Recognition in Canada (CRC) program and sought her advice regarding the challenges to the CRC process in Quebec. Both sides also noted that more can be done to promote diversity and inclusivity in Montreal.
