The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa organized a lecture on "Introduction to Maritime Domain Awareness" on 29 June 2017 at the Mindanao Hall of the Chancery as part of its Personnel Continuing Education Program (PCEP). The lecture was attended by personnel of the Embassy and members of the Filipino Student Association in the University of Ottawa.

Ambassador Petronila Garcia Welcomes CHED Delegation to Canada

29 June 2017, Ottawa – Ambassador Petronila Garcia welcomed a delegation from the Commission on Higher Education and representatives from various universities in the Philippines visiting Ottawa. The delegation is attending a 27-day training program in Canada on “Internationalization of Higher Education in the Philippines” which aims to link universities in the Philippines with their foreign counterparts.

24 June 2017, Ottawa – As part of the Embassy’s Personnel Continuing Education Program (PCEP) and in line with the commemoration of the 119th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence, the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa organized a Workshop on Filipino Desserts in the afternoon of Saturday, 24 June 2017. The Workshop was conducted by Batangas cake artist and Kunst Gallery Project Coordinator Mr. Bill Perez and attended by more than twenty Embassy personnel and their families.
