PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS 2025

Registered Filipino overseas voters (in Posts/Countries adopting online voting) may vote online in the May 12, 2025 elections.

To participate, you must be pre-enrolled as an online voter. Pre-enrolment for online voting via the COMELEC Voting Portal is from March 10 to May 7, 2025.

The 30-day overseas voting period is from 13 April 2025 until 12 May 2025, at 7:00PM Philippine Standard Time.

19 April 2024, Ottawa - Philippine Ambassador to Canada Maria Andrelita S. Austria, together with Tulip Restaurant’s Filipino-Canadian Executive Chef David Vinoya, guested in the first segment of Rogers TV’s Daytime Ottawa on Monday, 15 April 2024.

Philippine Ambassador Austria updated the public about the Filipino Food Month and Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada (FRMC). Ambassador Austria shared the significance of the FRMC in this year’s celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the PH-CA diplomatic relations, highlighting Filipinos and Canadians special connections through the shared love for food. Chef David featured the recipe and demonstrated how to cook Bistek Tagalog.

We are pleased to announce that the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa will conduct a consular outreach in Halifax, Nova Scotia on the following dates:

Date: Saturday, 18 May 2024, 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Sunday, 19 May 2024, 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The consular team will provide passport services, legalization, reports of birth, marriage and death, and overseas voting registration services during the outreach mission.

15 April 2024, Ottawa - The Philippine Embassy in Canada, in partnership with Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute, presented a live cooking demonstration of Filipino Adobo conducted by WorldChefs certified Filipino-Canadian Executive Chef David Vinoya on 13 April 2024 held at the institute.

Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Head Pastry Chef Instructor, Chef Yann Le Coz, welcomed the guests.

Philippine Ambassador to Canada, Maria Andrelita S. Austria, shared information on the Philippines’ celebration of Filipino Food Month in April and the 3rd Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada (FRMC). Ambassador Austria encouraged the audience to visit the FRMC’s participating restaurants near them to appreciate more of the Philippine culinary treasures and support Filipino food.
