11 November 2020, Ottawa – Ambassador-designate Rodolfo D. Robles joined the 5th Annual Filipino Heritage Month Gala Virtual Celebration hosted by the Filipino Community in New Brunswick. In his pre-recorded message, he noted the growing Filipino diaspora in Canada, citing the host government’s programs as one of the factors attracting the entry of skilled Filipino workers.
Ambassador-designate Robles thanked the organizers of the event for their collective efforts in showcasing Philippine culture and the joyful spirit of Filipinos in their new home. He also acknowledged the important role of Filipino frontliners in the fight against the current pandemic. -END-

The Embassy’s consular section in Ottawa will be open on the following date for our monthly Saturday consular service:
Saturday, 5 December, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
We will provide the following services:
- Passport application and renewal
- Consular notarization/authentication of documents (legalization)
- Civil registration (Report of Marriage/Birth)
- NBI Form No. 5 fingerprinting and consular notarization
All applicants for consular services must book an appointment at the following link beginning Monday, 23 November 2020, at 12:00 noon (Ottawa time):

Applicants should ensure that they bring with them complete requirements when they arrive at the Embassy for their transaction, including photocopies of required documents. There are no photocopying facilities inside the Embassy.
Please note that, due to existing COVID-19 restrictions in Ontario on physical distancing and the size of the Embassy’s consular space, walk-in clients cannot be accommodated. The wearing of face coverings/masks shall be also required of all applicants inside the building.
