Ambassador Robles Promotes Credential Recognition Project in Vancouver

In his meeting on 9 December 2021 in Vancouver with British Columbia Labor Minister Harry Bains, Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles requested the support of the British Columbia provincial government for the recognition of credentials of Filipino immigrants to the province.
Ambassador Robles shared with Minister Bains the highlights of the Credentials Recognition in Canada (CRC) Project being pushed by Philippine Posts in Canada (PPC). The provincial government was specifically requested to consider providing financial grants to internationally educated nurses who are interested to obtain accreditation as registered nurses in British Columbia.

Ambassador Robles Requests Support for Credentials Recognition in Calgary

Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles presents a token to Acting Mayor Raj Dhaliwal after their meeting at the Calgary City Hall.
Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles requested the support of the City Government of Calgary for the recognition of credentials of Filipino immigrants. The request was made during a meeting between Ambassador Robles and Calgary City Acting Mayor Raj Dhaliwal at the City Hall of Calgary on 7 December 2021.
Ambassador Robles briefed Acting Mayor Dhaliwal of the Credentials Recognition in Canada (CRC) Project currently being implemented by Philippine Posts in Canada (PPC) and expressed confidence that PPC and the City of Calgary would be able to collaborate in this advocacy. Acting Mayor Dhaliwal expressed his support for the credential recognition advocacy of Ambassador Robles.
The CRC Project is a primary advocacy of Ambassador Robles and is being implemented across Canada by PPC. PPC is composed of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and the Philippine Consulates General in Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto.
Philippine Embassy Brings Consular Services to Quebec

The Embassy of the Philippines in Canada conducted a Consular Outreach Mission in Montreal from 4 to 5 December 2021 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. Passport renewal and document legalization services were provided to Filipinos living in the province.
Philippine Embassy In Ottawa Stands up to End Violence Against Women

The Embassy of the Philippines Canada joined Filipinos around the world in the observance of the Philippines’ 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women. This movement which takes place from 25 November to 12 December advocates for the protection of women from all forms of violence and the creation of safe spaces for them in all areas of society.
To raise awareness on this important endeavor, Philippine Embassy personnel wore orange shirts and black face masks bearing the official logo “VAW-Free Community Begins with Me” during the Saturday Consular Service in Ottawa held on 4 December 2021 and the Consular Outreach Mission in Montreal held from 4 to 5 December 2021.
