PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS 2025

Registered Filipino overseas voters (in Posts/Countries adopting online voting) may vote online in the May 12, 2025 elections.

To participate, you must be pre-enrolled as an online voter. Pre-enrolment for online voting via the COMELEC Voting Portal is from March 10 to May 7, 2025.

The 30-day overseas voting period is from 13 April 2025 until 12 May 2025, at 7:00PM Philippine Standard Time.

Credentials Recognition in Canada Microsite Site Goes Live

28 July 2022, Ottawa – The Philippine Embassy’s “Credentials Recognition in Canada” microsite went online today as part of ongoing efforts by Philippine Posts in Canada (PPC) to promote awareness on credentials recognition processes for internationally educated nurses in the country.

The microsite provides a platform for Philippine-educated and trained nurses who wish to practice their profession in Canada to access information on the accreditation requirements of the various provinces and territories. The site links to the websites of the different nursing regulatory authorities, including credentialing requirements, and the National Nursing Assessment Service. A section is also dedicated to related publications released by Philippine Posts in Canada, such as the “Guide for Filipino Nurses” brochure and the “Filipinos in the Field” E-Book.

27 JULY 2022 – The Philippine Embassy in Canada joined the members of the Iglesia ni Cristo in illuminating the Ottawa sign in the historic By-Ward Market with the colors of their Church. This is in commemoration of their 108^th Anniversary and their 50^th year in Canada. The activity is part of a simultaneous lighting activities in Niagara Falls, Montreal, Edmonton and Vancouver.
