We are pleased to announce that the Migrant Workers Office and the Social Security System will be joining the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa during the conduct of a consular outreach in Montreal on the following dates:
Date: Saturday, 23 March 2024, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Sunday, 24 March 2024, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
The Migrant Workers Office (MWO)- Toronto (formerly Philippine Overseas Labor Office) will be providing services related to the verification of contracts, issuance/renewal of OWWA membership, and general inquiry on OEC and MWO services. The Social Security System (SSS) - Toronto will be providing services related to membership application, updating, and payment, and general inquiry on SSS services. Appointment for SSS services during the Outreach may be booked through:

26 February 2024, Ottawa – The Philippine Embassy in Canada participated in the 2024 Pinoys on Parliament (POP) Workshop by conducting a lecture on Protocol, Social Graces and Etiquette to one of the conference cohorts held at the Arts Court on 24 February 2024.
First Secretary and Consul Alexander Joseph Estomo discussed the basics of protocol, order of precedence and its applications, and hosting of ceremonies, and official and social functions. Prior to assuming his post in Ottawa, Mr. Estomo was the Deputy Chief of Presidential Protocol in the Philippines.
