2 February 2024, Ottawa - The Philippine Embassy in Canada, together with the Philippine Consulates General in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, proudly launches the official logo for the 75th anniversary of Philippines-Canada diplomatic relations, with the theme, “Building Bridges, Celebrating Connections.”

The design incorporates iconic symbols of the two countries – the Philippines' eight-ray sun and Canada’s maple leaf. The 75th anniversary theme encapsulates the dynamic and forward-looking diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Philippines and Canada are again embarking on new pathways for collaboration such as in defense, agriculture and food security, energy, development cooperation, cybersecurity, among others. At the same time, the two countries continue to celebrate milestones and enjoy robust people to people relations.

The Philippine Embassy in Canada and the Consulates in Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver will be organizing activities throughout the year to commemorate this important milestone in Philippines-Canada diplomatic relations. END
