The Embassy’s consular section in Ottawa will be open on the following date for our monthly Saturday consular service:
Saturday, 05 October 2019, 10am - 3pm
In view of space limitations in the consular area, please note that we will use an appointment system for regular passport renewals for the period 10am – 12pm. Please use the following link to book your appointment:

NOTE: If you are unable to book a passport appointment using this system, please come to the embassy after 12pm, on a first-come first-served (walk-in) basis.
Persons with disabilities, senior citizens (persons 60 years old and above), pregnant women, children below 7 years old, and their immediate family members do not need to book an appointment. A special lane will be provided and they will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
For all other consular documents, such as notarials, NBI clearance, and civil registration, we will continue with the first-come first-served (walk-in) system, starting at 10am. PHILIPPINES ATTENDS TRIENNIUM ICAO ASSEMBLY

Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia headed the Philippine Delegation to the 40th Session of the Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), with Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel Fernandez III as Alternate Chief Delegate. The participants from Manila were headed by Director General Jim Sydiongco of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and included Chief Legal Officer Wyrlou Samodio of the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB), CAAP Chief of Staff Danjun Lucas, and CAAP Head Executive Assistant Roberto Martin S. Buenaventura.
The Assembly is meeting at the ICAO Headquarters in Montreal and is expected to adopt policies to guide the regulation of international civil aviation for the next three years, including harmonization of programs to facilitate international travel while addressing aviation security concerns.
YOUNG FILIPINA WINS ICAO DESIGN COMPETITION

Helene Margaret Bariso Elias (front row in blue dress) joins the other winners of the ICAO competition on design of future aircraft at awarding ceremonies held in Montreal. ICAO Secretary General Fang Liu (center) handed the awards.
A 7-year old Filipino was adjudged the regional winner in an international competition launched by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on design of future aircraft.

23 September 2019, Ottawa – Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia welcomed the Heads of Mission from Asia Pacific countries or their representatives who participated in the Asia Pacific Queen’s Ambassadors’ Forum held on 23 September 2019 at the Sentro Rizal of the Chancery of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa. Dr. Darrel Bricker, CEO of Ipsos Public Affairs, a polling firm, shared his prognostications on the forthcoming Canadian federal elections in October, 2019.
