PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS 2025

Registered Filipino overseas voters (in Posts/Countries adopting online voting) may vote online in the May 12, 2025 elections.

To participate, you must be pre-enrolled as an online voter. Pre-enrolment for online voting via the COMELEC Voting Portal is from March 10 to May 7, 2025.

The 30-day overseas voting period is from 13 April 2025 until 12 May 2025, at 7:00PM Philippine Standard Time.

PHILIPPINE EMBASSY JOINS FILIPINO FIESTA IN MONTREAL

The Embassy of Philippines joined the Filipino community in Montreal for “Pista sa Nayon” held on Sunday, 14 July 2019, at the MacKenzie-King Park. Various Filipino organizations came together to celebrate this annual event that featured cultural performances and Filipino culinary delicacies not often seen in Canada.

First Secretary and Consul Greg Marie Mariño greeted the participants on behalf of Philippine Ambassador to Canada Petronila P. Garcia and congratulated them on a successful event.

The Embassy of the Philippines in Canada joined the Silver Anniversary celebration of Kalihukang Bisaya, a Montreal-based Filipino organization, held on Saturday, 13 July 2019 at the Cote Saint-Luc Aquatic and Community Centre in Montreal, Quebec. Consul General Alan Deniega (first photo, second from left), accompanied by Dr. Rachel Deniega (second photo, seated, third from right), represented the Embassy.

Members of other Filipino organizations in Montreal were also present during the milestone event. END.

Garcia hosted a farewell luncheon for outgoing Global Affairs Canada Assistant Deputy Minister Donald Bobiash on Monday, 15 July 2019, at the Philippine Embassy’s Mindanao Hall. Joining the luncheon were the Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and other representatives of the Asia Pacific diplomatic missions in Ottawa, GAC ADM Paul Thoppil, and other members of the Embassy of the Philippines in Canada.
