PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS 2025

Registered Filipino overseas voters (in Posts/Countries adopting online voting) may vote online in the May 12, 2025 elections.

To participate, you must be pre-enrolled as an online voter. Pre-enrolment for online voting via the COMELEC Voting Portal is from March 10 to May 7, 2025.

The 30-day overseas voting period is from 13 April 2025 until 12 May 2025, at 7:00PM Philippine Standard Time.

14 March 2017, Ottawa – Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia joins other Women Heads of Mission in Ottawa [also known as Women Ambassadors of Ottawa (WAO)] to meet with the Honorable Rona Ambrose, Leader of the Official Opposition, at a luncheon on 09 March 2017. This Diplomatic Group, chaired by the Moldovan Ambassador H.E. (Ms) Ala Beleavschi, actively engages different institutions of and personalities in the host country to constructive and meaningful dialogue.

10 March 2017, Ottawa – The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa welcomed student visitors from the De La Salle University – Manila on Friday, 10 March 2017. The students, who are undertaking different fields of study in DLSU – Manila, are in Canada to attend the World Model United Nations Conference scheduled on 13 to 17 March 2017 in Montreal. During their visit, they called on Philippine Ambassador to Canada Petronila P. Garcia and met with other Embassy officers.

On behalf of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa is pleased to announce the holding of ANDREA O. VENERACION CHORAL FESTIVAL, MANILA 2017 on 20 to 23 July 2017.

The Festival is named after the founder of the world renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers, the late National Artist for Music Professor Andrea O. Veneracion, an esteemed choirmaster and choral clinician who was instrumental in the promotion of choral music all over the country.

The Festival is open to choirs from around the world who wish to compete in the Folk Song, Vocal Ensemble and Chamber Choir categories.
