17 June 2019, Ottawa – First Secretary Jeffrey Salik represented the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa at a ceremony that officially named the Rizal Platz at Mackenzie-King Park in Montreal on Saturday, 15 June 2019. The ceremony was attended by the officers and members of the various Filipino community organizations, different chapters of the Knights of Rizal, and the Ladies of the Knights of Rizal from Montreal and its suburbs.
