This was the outcome of a business call by Philippine Ambassador to Canada Leslie B. Gatan, on Mr. Robert Miller, the President of Future Electronics, on 16 March 2012, at the corporate headquarters of Future Electronics in Pointe-Claire, Montreal, Canada.

Future Electronics is one of the largest privately owned companies in Quebec and Canada, and is also currently the third largest electronics distributor in the world . It generates an estimated annual sales of over CAD$4.5 billion.

Future Electronics has operations in 169 locations in 42 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. It currently operates a distribution facility in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila which connects to its regional hub based in Singapore.

Mr. Miller welcomed assurances from the Ambassador and conveyed that he was impressed by investment opportunities and considerable human resource pool presented by the Philippines.
