Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia called on Parliamentary Secretary Andrew Leslie who oversees Canada’s relationship with the United States.

PS Leslie shared with Ambassador Garcia his insights on recent changes in the US State Department and the results of the latest round of negotiation for the review of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

The conversation of the two officials also touched on the contribution of the Filipino diaspora in Canada. Ambassador Garcia was joined in her meeting by Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel Fernandez III.
