19 July, Ottawa - Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia, accompanied by Minister for Economic Affairs Eric Gerardo Tamayo and Second Secretary Jeffrey Salik of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, met with Bombardier and Philippine Airlines executive in Dorval and Mirabel, Quebec on Tuesday, 18 July.

Bombardier Business Aircraft Chief Operating Officer Paul Sislian briefed Ambassador Garcia and Embassy officers on the company's Business Aircraft operations in Dorval. The General Manager of Operations at the Global Completion Center, Mr. Sergio Marrone, toured them around several buildings in the Global Completion Center complex and showed the various stages in putting together various parts of an aircraft to create private jets.

The Ambassador then proceeded to Bombardier's manufacturing facility in Mirabel, Quebec to meet Philippine Airlines President and COO Jaime Bautista and SVP for Corporate Planning and Business Development Angelito Alvarez, and other senior officers of Bombardier from Toronto and Mirabel. END.
