We are pleased to announce that the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa will conduct a consular outreach in Montreal on the following dates:

Date:     Saturday,12 April 2025, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
              Sunday, 13 April 2025, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The consular team will provide passport services, legalization, reports of birth, marriage and death, NBI clearance, information and enrollment assistance on the Overseas Voting and Counting System (OVCS) for registered Filipino overseas voters.

We urge applicants not to bring with them people who have no consular business to conduct as the crowd will be tightly managed at the venue. Travel companions may wait outside the venue. Appearance is strictly by appointment only.

Please note that an approved appointment does not guarantee that your transaction will be completed on the appointed date without the presentation of sufficient documentary requirements. Please make sure to bring your complete documentary requirements,  their photocopies, and cash or debit card for payment.

PASSPORT

All applicants for passport application/renewal must book an appointment through the following link:

If you are a parent and/or a child/children renewing their passports together, please click on MONTREAL | PASSPORT ENCODER 2 (Adults and children). Please secure one appointment slot for each applicant.

Applicants should ensure that they bring with them complete requirements when they arrive at the venue for their transaction, particularly the printed application form and the required documents and their photocopies. We have no photocopying facilities at the venue. The requirements for passport application and renewal may be viewed at this page on our website:

Applicants must submit a pre-paid self-addressed Xpresspost envelope, with a signature sticker, which may be purchased from Canada Post or its agents. Please be reminded that Canada Post is closed on Sundays.

You will receive your new passport within 8 weeks from the date of application.

Please note that clients for legalization, reports of birth, marriage, death, and NBI Form 5 will not be allowed to wait at the venue after processing and will need to return on the indicated releasing schedule. For those who do not wish to return, you may bring a prepaid self-addressed Xpresspost envelope (with signature sticker) together with your documents and their photocopies at any point during the outreach. Please be reminded that Canada Post is closed on Sundays.

For those who will submit their dual citizenship application, the team will process the application but the oath-taking and the release of documents will be scheduled in the next available outreach mission to Montreal.

2025 NATIONAL ELECTIONS

PRE-VOTING ENROLMENT FOR INTERNET VOTING 

All the applicants who are registered voters may be assisted in pre-voting enrolment for the 2025 National Elections internet voting. Click here to check if you are a registered voter. Please bring your own internet-capable device and any of the following valid identification issued by the Philippine Government:

  • Passport
  • Seaman’s Book
  • PhilSys ID 
  • IBP
  • Driver’s License
