27 February 2025, Ottawa - In line with its commitment to fostering a safe work environment, the Philippine Embassy successfully held a basic First Aid Training session for its personnel on 26 February 2025 at the Mindanao Hall of the chancery. The training was conducted by Ms. Tammie Martin, a certified first aid provider from National Capital First Aid, a recognized Canadian Red Cross Training Partner.

The training focused on equipping personnel with essential life-saving skills while fostering an environment of preparedness and compassion. This training session is part of the Embassy's broader commitment to supporting the health and safety of its personnel, empowering them to effectively handle medical emergencies, and reinforcing its Gender and Development initiatives.  END
