Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III shared administrative updates with personnel of the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver headed by Consul General Maria Andrelita Austria. Held on 14 December 2022, the discussion requested by Consul General Austria was intended to apprise the Consulate’s personnel on immunities and privileges of consular agents in Canada.

Fernandez provided information from the application of diplomatic entry visas in Manila until the completion of the tour of duty of personnel in Vancouver, including the facility provided by the Canadian government to allow dependent children to complete their education after the departure of their principals in order to avoid unnecessary 16disruption in their studies.
