The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa commemorated the annual Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA MO) in September by undertaking a Coastal Clean-Up of Britannia Beach in West Ottawa, a Swimming Survival Initiative, and the awarding of plaques of participation to its personnel who participated in these events.
The various activities were intended to promote awareness and protection of the marine environment and the management of marine resources.
