Ambassador Rodolfo Robles addressed (clockwise) City Councilor Marvin Rotrand, City Councilor Lionel Perez, and MNA David Birnbaum in a virtual meeting hosted by the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa.  

Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles recently met with aldermen who represented adjoining districts in metropolitan Montreal which play host to a large Filipino community in the province of Quebec.

Quebec Member of the National Assembly David Birnbaum of the Quebec Liberal Party, Darlington District City Councilor Marvin Rotrand (Independent), and Darlington District City Councilor Lionel Perez (Ensemble Montreal) spoke highly of the contributions of the Filipino community to the City of Montreal. Ambassador Robles conveyed his appreciation for their support to the activities of the various Filipino community organizations in their districts.

There are 33,050 Canadians of Filipino heritage who reside in Montreal based on the 2016 Canadian census.
