Philippine Ambassador to Canada Rodolfo D. Robles received Member of Parliament Kevin Lamoureux at the Chancery of the Embassy of the Philippines in Ottawa on 11 December 2020. MP Lamoureux is the Chair of the Canada-Philippines Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group and Parliamentary Secretary to the Leader of Government in the House of Commons.  In the course of their discussion, MP Lamoureux reaffirmed the Friendship Group’s commitment to partnering with the Philippine Embassy in advancing bilateral relations between the Philippines and Canada and expressed continued support for the Embassy’s plans and programs.

Ambassador Robles conveyed his appreciation for the Friendship Group’s projects that build on the excellent relations between the two countries, including the internship program for Filipino-Canadians and the annual commemoration of Filipino Heritage Month.—END—
