1 March 2020 – Consul General Alan Deniega and First Secretary and Consul Greg Marie Mariño of the Embassy of the Philippines in Canada attended events for the “Kabayan Ko, Kapatid Ko” (My Countryman, My Brethren) program held on Sunday, 1 March 2020 in Montreal and Ottawa, respectively. This initiative is spearheaded by the Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ) and gathered Filipinos in both cities for an evening of fellowship and information on the socio-civic projects of the church.
