Ambassador Garcia meets Tory MP Aboultaif in Ottawa.

 Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia met with Member of Parliament Ziad Aboultaif at the latter’s parliamentary office in Ottawa. MP Aboultaif is a member of the Conservative Party and represents the riding or parliamentary district of Edmonton Manning which is home to a significant Filipino community.

Ambassador Garcia provided MP Aboultaif with an update on Philippine domestic and foreign policies in preparation for the latter’s visit to Manila later in May as a member of the House Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and International Development.
