10 May 2018 – Philippine Ambassador to Canada Petronila P. Garcia received Ms. Josephine Victoria Yam, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of B3 Canada, at the Embassy earlier today to discuss her company’s efforts to link Canadian business leaders with non-profit organizations. B3 (Building Breakthrough Boards) Canada is a pioneering enterprise that matches highly-skilled corporate employees to serve on non-profit boards for leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and community-building.

Ambassador Garcia commended Ms. Yam for her achievements, for which she was nominated at the 10th Annual RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrants Awards.

Ambassador Garcia was joined by Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III, First Secretary and Consul Eric R. Aquino, and Second Secretary and Consul Jeffrey P. Salik at the meeting. END
