 24 April 2018, Ottawa. Hon. Joe Peschisolido, Member of Parliament (MP), called on Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia today, 24 April 2018 at the latter’s office at the Embassy of the Philippines.

During the call, MP Peschisolido informed Ambassador Garcia of his desire to strengthen parliamentary linkages between the Philippines and Canada. He briefed Ambassador Garcia that the constituency in Steveston - Richmond East which he represents at the Parliament has a large community of Filipino descent. He mentioned that he regularly communicates with the Filipino community in Richmond, especially those who are involved in civic and pastoral work.

Hon. Peschisolido is the incumbent Member of Parliament for Steveston – Richmond East, and serves as the Vice-Chair on the Canada-China Legislative Association, the Canada-Taiwan Inter-Parliamentary Group, the Canada-Japan Inter-Parliamentary Group, and the Canadian Section of the ParlAmerican. END
