 12 April 2018, Ottawa. Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia and other ASEAN Committee Ottawa Heads of Mission (ACO HOMs) met today, 12 April 2018, with Singaporean Non-Resident High Commissioner Heng Nee Philip Eng at the Official Residence of the Vietnamese Ambassador in Ottawa.

During the meeting, Ambassador Eng discussed Singapore’s priorities during its ASEAN Chairmanship this year, and explained to the ACO HOMs Singapore’s proposed initiatives on innovation and resilience in consonance with the theme of Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship: “Resilient and Innovative.”

There are 7 ASEAN member states with diplomatic missions in Ottawa, namely: Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Viet Nam. END.
