Deputy Consul General Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez (standing, 4L) and Consul Eric R. Aquino (seated, 4L) respectively headed the consular teams of the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto and the Philippine Embassy at the outreach mission held at the Holiday Inn Polo Park in Winnipeg from 15 to 19 March 2018. Mr. Roberto Roldan (seated, 3L) of the Social Security System (SSS) Foreign Representative Office in Toronto also joined the outreach mission.

 21 March 2018 – The Embassy sent a consular outreach team to assist the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto (Toronto PCG) during its consular outreach mission in Winnipeg, Manitoba from 15 to 19 March 2018, providing passport renewal services to more than 550 Filipinos in the area.

The outreach mission was held at the Holiday Inn Polo Park, and the Embassy team was led by First Secretary and Consul Eric R. Aquino with Consular Assistants Armi A. Santos, Rosalie V. Gonsalves, Josephine L. Gonato and Pio L. Tejada.

During the five-day outreach mission, the Embassy team was able to process 549 regular passport renewals, one renewal of a lost expired Philippine passport, two renewals of lost valid Philippine passports, one passport extension, and three notarial services, for a total of 556 consular services rendered.
