 9 March 2018, Ottawa – Delegates to the 2018 Canadian International Model United Nations (CANIMUN) visited the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa to learn more about the Philippines. Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III conducted a briefing for the delegates on the three pillars of Philippine foreign policy, namely, Assistance to Nationals, National Security, and Economic Security, and discussed the Philippines’ participation in the different committees of the United Nations.
