30 May 2013 - Billed as the most colorful and most explosive event of the summer, the Sound of Light pyromusical show was launched today in Gatineau with Mayor Marc Bureau as Guest of Honor. Now on its 18th year, the Casino du Lac-Leamy Sound of Light is presented by the SAQ with the Banque Nationale as collaborating sponsor.

Participating teams from the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Denmark and United Arab Emirates are poised to outdo each other in an exciting burst of lights and colors over Leamy Lake from August 10 to 24.

Platinum Fireworks Inc. will represent the Philippines in the competition. On August 17, Team Philippines will present a highly-anticipated 25-minute show entitled "Revolution" which evokes the spirit of the 1986 People Power Revolution that brought down a dictatorship and restored democracy in the Philippines.

Platinum Fireworks has participated in various international fireworks display contests and promises to deliver another unforgettable magical experience, this time at the Sound of Light festival in Gatineau. The company also hosts and organizes the annual Philippine International Pyromusical Competition at the SM Mall of Asia as well as the Asian Sky Wizardry fireworks competition at the Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna every October.
