09 January 2024, Ottawa - Ambassador Maria Andrelita S. Austria received Ambassador Sophea Eat of Cambodia at the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa. Both sides agreed to collaborate in tackling important matters that affect both Filipino and Cambodian communities in Canada and to promote their interests. Ambassador Eat also commended the efforts of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa in raising the profile of ASEAN and its member states in Canada.

Ambassador Eat is Cambodia’s non-resident Ambassador to Canada and is based in New York, USA, as Cambodia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
