5 October 2023, Ottawa - The Philippine Embassy’s Deputy Head of Mission Myca Magnolia Fischer met with Brock University’s President and Vice Chancellor Lesley Riggs on 4 October 2023. Both sides discussed Brock’s upcoming visit to the Philippines in November 2023. The Embassy and Brock University agreed to explore cooperation in the fields of agriculture, sustainability, women empowerment, and development, through institutional linkages and student exchanges.

Brock University is an educational institution located in St. Catharines in Ontario’s Niagara region.  Ms. Riggs will join 20 other Canadian university presidents who will visit Manila and explore academic partnerships with Philippine counterparts.
