PR 175 2021 a Consular Outreach in Halifax 2 Nov 21

Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles administers the oath of allegiance to applicants for reacquisition or retention of Filipino citizenship under R.A. No. 9225.

The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa provided consular passport services to Filipinos in Halifax and nearby areas from 28 October to 1 November 2021. This was the second consular outreach visit to Halifax since the start of the pandemic, occurring during periods when travel restrictions are eased. The consular team was led by First Secretary and Consul Jeffrey Salik.

In addition to providing passport services, applicants for the reacquisition of retention of Filipino citizenship took their Oath of Allegiance before Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles. The other consular services of the Embassy continue to be made available to clients through the postal system.
