“Mana” is the contribution of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa to the common cultural program of Philippine Posts in Canada launched this year.
The participants to the Town Hall Meeting hosted by Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles last 30 October 2021 in Halifax, Nova Scotia were treated to the premier of “Mana: Conversations with Filipino Culture Bearers” with a viewing of the first episode featuring Joel and Henia Blunto of Sesotunawa.
“Mana” is a series of video interviews showcasing the stories and traditions of the indigenous communities of the Philippines. Scheduled for release on various social media platforms from 3 to 17 November 2021, this project is organized by Sentro Rizal Ottawa of the Embassy of the Philippines, in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the other Philippine Posts in Canada (PPC).
PPC is composed of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and the Philippine Consulates General in Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto.
